Hi Team
Congratulations on the funding, and a great product, which I use for D-Star. I am also a fan of Allstar (an FM analog linking system). Is there any chance of adding this to the existing array of modes? I know it’s a big ask, but you never know!

The Allstar project has been coming along nicely and we plan to finish work after our Grant is renewed.
There is something you should know. The current ADF7021 based hotspots will not be able to support analog FM. The ADF7021 chips were designed to support digital modes. Work is being done by our hardware partner (ZUMRadio) to use a different RF chip on future hotspot boards that will support FM and some additional digital modes.
Currently, you would have to use something like the ZUMRadio MMDVM Pi HAT, which is a modem board for connecting to an external radio (or two for a repeater).
We are going to be working with our partners WPSD and Pi-Star for configuration settings in the not too distant future.
It may not be as big an ask as you think. The current version of MMDVM supports analog FM. There is work being done to output a voice encoding that would be compatible with Allstar.
Keep an eye on this project for updates.
